Grandparents allegedly tow 7-year-old behind SUV in toy car while drunk


The grandparents of a 7-year-old Florida girl are several charges after she her supposedly in a plastic car behind their SUV dragged - all under the influence of alcohol.
The Herald Tribune reported that Paul j. Berloni, 49, driving under the influence, child exposure and drive with a suspended license is responsible. Sarasota sheriff deputies say that Berloni was convicted on three previous DUIs. His wife, Belinda Jean Berloni, 47, is a charge of child vulnerability.
The granddaughter was not hurt during the incident.
According to the report, arrest could "the Berloni offer adequate supervision for the child and put the child in a situation, the slightly too much physical damage, permanent disfigurement or even death could have led."
Police became aware the illegal journey as a member the pair discovered her granddaughter in a plastic hot wheels car towing. The child was dressed in a bathing suit, without any protective gear. Hot Wheels car posted on the SUV trailer hitch with two dog leash and an estimated 5 to 10 mph on the road.
Belinda Berloni was reportedly in the back of the SUV riding and "Celebration to the child", according to the arrest report. The couple did not deny, they drank, or, that license was exposed to Paul Berloni. Rather, Belinda Berloni reportedly told ", all day, were that she understood that it was dangerous to pull a child behind the vehicle, but they were just for fun and" according to the arrest report.
Father of the child was called to the scene and "verbally annoyed" was supposedly with his mother before taking custody of his child.
